Patrick Faucher
E-commerce pioneer, accomplished musician, and self-professed technogeek, Patrick Faucher is the CTO and Co-founder of Nimbit, one of the leading digital commerce platforms for the music industry. Preceding the web’s explosion as a commercial marketplace, Patrick helped launch some of the very first online stores for renowned artists such as Aerosmith and Phish back in the late 90’s. Over the past two years, Nimbit has become the fastest growing direct-to-fan commerce and marketing platform in the music industry, powering over 10,000 online stores for artists and labels at every level. Patrick shares a deep passion for music and its value with every artist he interacts with, frequently speaking at industry events and lecturing at schools around the country. In his words, “My mission is simple – usher in the next era for the music industry by helping artists build a more sustainable business directly with their fans.” An alumnus of Berklee College of Music, Patrick has toured and performed in over 20 different countries as a trumpet player, vocalist and arranger.
Phil Antoniades
A DIY pioneer, member of the “scrapper” generation, and an honors graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Philip Antoniades is consistently focused on finding innovative business solutions that create real income for musicians. This is the essential concept behind Nimbit, Inc., the company he represents as Co-founder and President.
With over twenty years of experience in the music industry, Philip Antoniades is familiar with the many facets of the field, propelling his expertise into what is now Nimbit.com. He has toured nationally as a professional drummer, cementing his knowledge of the music industry from a musician’s point of view. At the same time, Philip has been consistently involved in the business side of the music world, having owned a record label, managed nationally touring artists, and worked as a producer and promoter.
In the early 1990’s, Philip Antoniades started Johnny Brock Management, a promotions and booking agency centered in and around the New England area. Johnny Brock Management was a principal partner in the International Acoustic Underground Competition. In 1996, he founded Artist Development Associates Inc., which provided mastering, CD manufacturing, design, and promotion services to independent artists on tour.
In 1997, Philip Antoniades launched CDfreedom.com to provide an online retail venue for fulfillment of CD’s and other merchandise to a growing Indie customer base. Since then, Indie music and its artists have continued to emerge as a popular, avant-garde genre; Philip Antoniades has continued to pursue this client base through Nimbit, Inc.. Nimbit first surfaced when it merged with Artist Development Associates in 2004.
JP Twarog
As Chief Architect, J.P. charts the course for all of Nimbit’s IT related initiatives to yield an architecture that is in-line with that of the company. Despite his dominion, his cubicle is far from an ivory tower, as J.P. serves as a key member of the development team. Before co-founding Nimbit, J.P. was responsible for leading a team of developers at SureFire Commerce, Inc. in the design and support of secure, high-volume publishing systems for the company’s e-commerce platform.
