Here at Nimbit we believe that there is no better feeling than getting paid hard earned cash for your creative work. We want to make it easier and faster for you to get the money you’ve earned with your Nimbit account.
By simply changing your payment method from “Check” to “PayPal” you can receive your funds 1-2 weeks earlier and there is no chance the check will get lost in the mail. Plus through PayPal, you can opt for direct payment into your bank account and you can opt to receive your payment in other currencies (useful for customers outside the US).
Here’s how you do it:
1. Log into your Nimbit Dashboard
2. Click on the Catalog Tab at the top of of the dash
3. Click on My Catalog | Payees
4. Scroll down to “Payment Method,” change it to “PayPal” enter the email address for your PayPal account, and hit save.
Nimbit’s PayPal payments are processed mid-month. Depending on when you make the change you may still receive a final check, so keep an eye on your mailbox. To get your own (free) PayPal account, go to www.paypal.com.

I note that you are still charging a $1 fee for processing via paypal, which seems to me a bit excessive considering paypal does the transfer for free — it also encourages me to set a high threshold for payment to reduce the percentage of the payment that goes toward fees, a huge drawback of your system over CDBaby, which pays immediately and does not charge a transaction fee for paypal payments. So, in the end, it doesn’t result in “faster” payments in any sense other than when I finally reach a threshold for which I’m willing to subject myself to a $1 fee, I’ll get the money in a day or two instead of waiting for a check that takes a week or two. Nonetheless, I’m not getting paid in anywhere near real-time, the $1 transfer fee discourages me from taking payment in any time period where I don’t have at least $100 in sales.
Thankful for Nimbit! Cheers
