Linda Chorney & Michael Ghegan
Train, the Grammy-award winning pop band, was so inspired by Hurricane Sandy: A Documentary, filmed by 16 year old Sea Bright resident, Charlotte Nagy, that they visited the town for a private performance to thank the first responders and cheer the residents. Viacom executive Sean Moran quickly arranged for VH1 to host and broadcast the show for this community hit so hard by the storm. In addition to debuting Bright Sea in her performance at the benefit, Linda was humbled to be invited on stage to perform a duet of the song Bruises with Train.
The studio recording of Bright Sea (Gonna Rise) is available for download through Nimbit. Linda has decided to sell the song with “Pay What You Want,” which allows fans to give additional support beyond the standard price they would normally pay for a download.
